WHAT IS THE RIGHT FOOD FOR A HEALTHY GUT?

What did you have for breakfast this morning? What are you planning for your lunch?

What inform your meal choices?
I hope it’s not your taste glands. Latest scientific discovery is confirming that our gut is directly connected to the brain. This means if we abuse our gut we also affect the brain. Could this explain why we are becoming dim wits??

We say “my gut feelings” is I should not do it…..? Right ?
Do not worry that you are thinking with your gut. It is directly connected to your logical brain in a massive way.

How do we take good care of the gut?
It starts by making the right choices of food. Take a deeper interest to know what your body needs, the quantity and quality, in what format and where to get it. This is the beginning of a healthy gut which translates to a healthy mind.

Avoid chemicalized foods. Most vegetables and fruits are laced with pesticides. Choose organically grown veggies and fruits. Do not kill the vitamins and minerals by heating the veggies in excessive temperature. Avoid use of hydrogenated oils and trans fats. Do not mess your food with aluminum and cheap stainless steel cooking pots. All this will end up in your brain. Cook your food with top grade stainless like titanium 316Ti Saladmaster cookware or earthen pots not aluminium and those cooper anti stick or cheap stainless steel pots found in most kitchens.

Our physical relationship with food start in the mouth. Most of us do not chew our food properly. God put teeth in our mouth for a purpose. Use the teeth to crush the food properly. Do not be in a hurry to swallow half chewed food . This is where the problem in our gut begins.

Fermentation
This happens when we take fruits after food. Always start with fruits because they digest quickly unlike the solid foods that take 4 to 5 hrs to breakdown (NB meat take up to 72 hrs. In fact it putrefy in the stomach leading to buildup of toxins)
This is the outcome of poor feeding habits. And the beginning of all manner of diseases. You cannot be healthy if you have a sick colon. How do you remove all this stuff from your colon? Do you do regular detox? Have you ever done a colon hydrotherapy?
