66 days programme line up.

66 DAYS LIFESTYLE ADJUSTMENT AND BEHAVIOUR CHANGE CHALLENGE.

I hope we can start to appreciate that we are in charge of a highly complex system. Week one was warm-up. We now roll out the full programme . The 66 days cut across 9 weeks. This is how we will engage:

Week 1
From 27/10/18 to 3/11/18

I know thyself –Body Anatomy
This help us to appreciate how complex our body is .We cannot take good care of what we do not have proper understanding of. It is unfortunate our education system does not put emphasis on the importance of knowing how we are made. We learnt a bit of it in biology as a topic .Too bad most of us did not study Biology .It was a subject you made the choice either to do or opt not to. Majority skip biology
If I had my way .It could be made a compulsory subject .Our lives depend on it more than mathematics and English .At least you can use a calculator to do mathematics but you need to know thyself first before you take care of numbers.
Week 2
From 4/11/18 to 10/11/18
The body organs
Our body is made up of organs that run different functions in the body .We will unpack this to find out how many organs we are made of and their functions .We will focus more on the vital organs and the critical roles that they play to keep us in good health.
Week 3
From 11/11/18 to 17/11/18
body systems and their functions
We will focus on the body systems and their functions. do you know the different systems that power our body?
How does the body communicate?
Make sure not to miss the details in week 3

Week 4
From 18/11/18 to 24/12/18
Habitat
We will focus in matters Environment. What is the natural environment condusive for our body thrive in?
Where do we get it wrong?

Week 5
From 25/11/18 to 1/12/18
The major diseases afflicting us today both communicable and non-communicable
Diseases.

Week 6
From 2/12/18 to 8/12/18
What should we do to live a long vibrant life –Age gracefully.

Week 7
From 9/12/18 to 15/12/18
The behaviors we should modify or change if we expect to live a more vibrant life.

Week 8
From 9/12/18 to 15/12/18
NCDS and what we can do to reduce them to meet UN goal to reduce death from NCDs by 25% by 2025.

Week 9
From 16/12/18 to 22/12/18
Action plans
What we can do at individual level and collectively to make life better on planet earth.

This is our GPS map for the challenge. We will go deep in each area and highlight what we are not doing the right way and give suggestions how to make interventions. Your health is your responsibility not the doctors
We will also identify the business opportunities in this sector and advice how anyone interested can plug in. Wellness is a 3.7 trillion business and growing . We cannot afford to be left out.
